Our Story

MÜV+Her was founded by sisters-in-law Kadee and Lillian. Rooted in West Virginia and brought together by a shared belief: women deserve nutrition that is built with intention, credibility, and respect for their bodies.

Lillian is a registered nurse specializing in functional medicine. Through years of clinical work, she saw a consistent pattern in women's health. They were undernourished, overextended, and relying on convenient food options that did not support their physiology. Long shifts, skipped meals, and quick snacks - all high in sugar or inflammatory ingredients - had become the norm, especially in healthcare. Motherhood made that reality even clearer for Lillian.

When time is limited and responsibility is ever constant, nutrition has to be efficient and effectively supportive. MÜV+Her started with the idea that the bare minimum shouldn’t be the standard. Women deserve an option that can keep up with them.

Kadee brings a complementary perspective, from experience in athletic ventures. As a runner and avid “do hard things” adventurer, Kadee understands the standard needed for effective products that drive performance and recovery. This mindset, coupled with her background in industrial engineering, has granted her a true appreciation for efficiency and optimization, not only in production systems but also in women’s dietary needs.

Through her endurance training and experience in product manufacturing, Kadee saw how many nutrition products were built around gimmicks, often without any thought for long-term repercussions on women’s bodies. Nutrition products were optimized for marketing or product margins, not for health.

When it comes to protein bars, it can feel like there are only two options:

Choose a bar that is marketed as "healthy", but cuts corners on ingredients, leaving their claims to be false. Or the ladder, a bar that tastes like a dessert, yet relies on sugar and artificial ingredients, causing energy crashes and stomach distress.
